Degrees of Comparison v/s Degress of wisdom

So... After a long time, I thought of writing.. For all those who are constantly in the habit of comparing (including me of course). In this competitive world we all keep on striving to reach to the next level. But till when and where? It seems there is no point of satisfaction or complacence. A child as young as 3 wants to be like someone who is better than him? At 3?? Seriously?? What does it know at the age of 3? And for all of us, this is an alarm. what kind of a generation are we raising?
It's good to have a healthy competition- but I think we all need to re-evaluate the exact definition of "Healthy"

In this hypocrite world we all tend to refer to being healthy as being equal to perfection. There is nothing like perfect, it's just what each individual has the best in himself or herself which he/she has to realize. Children need to be motivated, not tortured or compared. The worst attitude that can destroy a child's mind is of inferiority complex. Once it develops it stays forever. Not only in a child, for any individual - The biggest challenge is being compared to someone who is better. I mean.. someone or something.. is always going to better. Not everyone is equal in terms of looks, brain, skills- nothing.

But it's unfortunate that by using the smart phones we all have become immune to human life and forgotten to appreciate the true value of existence. At every stage of our lives - Home, School, College, Work Place - Although we are GOOD, everywhere we are constantly under pressure to do BETTER and struggle to become nothing but the BEST. So from nature's best creation we all have become technological slaves. We all have a monotonous life, where we have no time, crime is at its peak and there is no sense of empathy.

The irony of this so called MODERN WORLD is that we have the fastest technology but we simply have no satisfaction. There is no peace because each Individual - Society - State - Country - Religion - is trying to compete with each other in a rat race. Our globe from the most beautiful is turning into the deadliest.

So people it's high time - begin from your own home. Raise kids not machines. Try to build a "Better" World of loving people rather than the most superior world of Digitized Robots!!!!

(An Essay)A person's worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honor, kindness and trust, no longer seem important.
